Social Media Activist Verydarkman Released From EFCC Custody

Self acclaimed social media activist, Vincent Martins Otse popularly known as Verydarkman has been released from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) custody after days in detention.

Verydarkman who was arrested last week was released to his lawyer Deji Adeyanju on Wednesday after perfecting his bail conditions.

The arrest of the social media critic on the premises of Guarantee Trust Bank (GTB) on allegations of financial misuse and cyber bullying had caused a ruckus with widespread protests and calls for his release.

The controversial personality confirmed his release in a video posted on social media on Wednesday afternoon.

It has however not being ascertained if the case was over or if there were still ongoing investigations into the case.
