Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee environmental assessments and studies related to World Bank projects.
- Provide expert guidance on environmental policies, regulations, and best practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate environmental considerations into project planning and implementation.
- Engage with stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and local communities, to promote environmental awareness and compliance.
- Monitor and evaluate the environmental impact of projects, ensuring adherence to the World Bank’s environmental and social standards.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Natural Resource Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in environmental assessment and management.
- Proven expertise in environmental policies, regulations, and international best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in diverse, multicultural environments.
