The Opportunity

We are looking for an innovative and driven Digital Health Platform Specialist to join our team in Nigeria. This role is a unique opportunity to be part of a project that will develop a digital health platform. This initiative will transform healthcare delivery by improving access to care, fostering sustainability, empowering patients, and promoting inclusivity across Sub-Saharan Africa (Nigeria in view), especially in underserved regions or high-risk regions.

The Digital Health Platform is designed to improve patient outcomes, empower the patients with relevant information, and collaborate among Healthcare providers in Nigeria through cutting-edge technologies such as telemedicine, and data-driven healthcare solutions.

As a Digital Health Platform Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful development and implementation of this platform, helping to bridge the healthcare gaps for a specific disease area.

Who You Are

This internship program is an opportunity for young graduates or postgraduates who are tech-savvy healthcare professionals passionate about leveraging digital solutions to improve healthcare access. Having a background in digital health, health informatics, or related fields with the knowledge of how technology can solve healthcare challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Postgraduate degree in Health Informatics, Digital Health, Public Health, or Healthcare Management.
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in digital health, health technology, or health IT.
  • Hands-on experience with digital telemedicine systems and some working knowledge of Nigeria protection data laws.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with other technical teams.
  • Strong knowledge of remote healthcare solutions, and digital tools.

Also, skills in application development or web development preferably in the field of  Digital Health and Digital Healthcare Administration within the last 12 months and are interested in applying your knowledge and skills in a modern working environment as part of an internship of at least 3 months and getting to know the pharmaceutical industry.

Furthermore, you have:

  • Proven experience in managing digital health projects, especially in underserved regions.
  • Strong knowledge of telemedicine and healthcare data management (AI in healthcare can be an advantage).
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and manage diverse stakeholder relationships.
  • Understanding of global sustainability goals and their application within healthcare systems.
  • Proficiency in project management principles and data analytics tools.
