RICS is the world’s leading professional body for qualifications and standards in land, property, infrastructure, and construction. Founded in 1868, it promotes and enforces the highest professional standards in the development and management of land, real estate, construction, and infrastructure.
RICS’ 134,000 trainees and professionals influence policy and embed global standards within local marketplaces in order to protect consumers and businesses. Through its research and training programmes, RICS ensures that technology is constantly deployed to provide solutions to the challenges of rapid urbanization, climate change, housing, infrastructure, etc.
The RICS Nigeria Group comprises over 400 members. It held its annual conference titled ‘Unravelling the Real Estate Sector – Challenges in Nigeria’ at Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja on 10th October 2019.
