About the Role
The Head of Media will lead the organization’s digital media strategy, combining creative storytelling with data-driven execution.
This position is ideal for a hands-on media professional who can both set vision and execute, working closely with marketing, partnerships, and creators to build content that educates, entertains, and drives engagement.
You’ll be responsible for developing original content franchises, growing social channels, and managing a small but agile media team in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop recurring digital content series, formats, and media properties that build audience loyalty
- Lead and grow a cross-functional media team including editors, videographers, storytellers, and on-screen talent
- Expand and manage brand presence across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms
- Act as the brand voice on social media through captions, community engagement, and trend-driven content
- Lead creative brainstorming sessions and turn ideas into executable production plans
- Collaborate with creators, partners, and influencers on authentic, high-performing content
- Analyze performance metrics and continuously optimize content for reach and engagement
Requirements
- Strong cultural fluency in digital media trends and storytelling
- Exceptional English proficiency (CEFR C2 / ILR Level 5)
- Proven experience ideating, scripting, shooting, and publishing content
- Demonstrated success growing social media channels or media brands
- Portfolio or active social handles showcasing audience-building content
- Strong creative judgment and storytelling skills
- Comfortable working both behind and occasionally in front of the camera
- Ability to test, experiment, and iterate content formats (A/B testing, hooks, thumbnails)
Bonus: Experience in the creator economy or SaaS industry is an advantage.
