Rand Merchant Bank (RMB) is currently hiring an Asset Management Business Development Manager to join their ranks. This is an excellent opportunity to become a member of a prominent financial institution that is renowned for ground-breaking products as well as client-centered services. As such, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading growth, establishing relationships, and promoting RMB’s asset management goals.
The primary focus of this role is to drive sales, grow assets under management, build and retain clients to improve the organisations market position. The successful candidate will identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals, maintain extensive knowledge of the financial market and current market trends, and contribute to the design of the distribution strategy.
They will work closely with the product development team, investment team, marketing team and other internal teams to increase sales opportunities. They will represent the voice of the Client internally and share market intelligence and client feedback for the development and enhancement of products and services. This person will play a significant role in the integration of technology.
