Job Summary

The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (MD/CEO) will provide strategic leadership and direction across all business verticals to drive growth, profitability, and sustainability. He/She will also spearhead business expansion, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maximizing stakeholder value. The role incumbent will oversee all facets of the business, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives, industry best practices, and governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company’s long-term strategic goals while maintaining leading corporate governance practices and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Lead executive regulatory engagements, enhance market visibility, and build strategic alliances while advising the Board on emerging trends.
  • Identify new business opportunities, drive innovation and growth, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Oversee financial performance, investments, and operational efficiency to ensure profitability, sustainability, and effective resource management.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, drive employee engagement, and focus on leadership development and succession planning.

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Master’s degree/MBA in Finance or related discipline
  • Relevant Professional Certification
  • Minimum of 15 years post-graduation experience, with at least 10 years in the financial services industry and proven experience in Asset Management and Investment.
  • At least five (5) years’ relevant work experience in a Senior Management role.
  • Sound strategic thinking abilities and business acumen.
  • Strong understanding of portfolio management
  • High level of credibility, ethical standards and integrity.
  • Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills with a track record of achieving expected business results
