Phillipa Osakwe-Okoye has been appointed as Managing Director of Boston Consulting Group (BCG) effective January 2026. She previously served as Partner and the Women@BCG Lead for the Lagos office.
Rich Consulting Experience
Osakwe-Okoye has over a decade of consulting experience, advising large multinational and African businesses on a range of strategic and operational issues, including strategy design, operating model improvements, and large-scale organisational transformations.
She is an expert in retail banking, payments and transaction banking, and broader financial institutions strategy and worked at other consulting firms including Bain & Company and Roland Berger in Nigeria before joining BCG in 2021.
Similarly Olayinka Majekodunmi was also promoted to the position of partner having served as a core member of the Public sector practice at BCG focusing on global development, healthcare, and financial inclusion.
Before joining BCG, Olayinka who holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University worked at McKinsey & Company for six years, most recently as a Senior Engagement Manager.
