Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, Awujale of Ijebuland Dies Aged 91

His Royal Majesty, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, the Awujale of Ijebuland has died at the age of 91.

The death of Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona who ascended the throne in 1960 was announced by Dapo Abiodun, the governor of Ogun state on Sunday evening.

Under his guidance, Ijebuland witnessed remarkable strides in infrastructure and community development, establishing itself as a model of progress in Ogun State.
