The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the 2025 Batch ‘C’ Orientation Course will commence on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, across all orientation camps in Nigeria.
Camp registration for all prospective corps members will run from November 19 to midnight on Friday, November 21, 2025, the scheme confirmed.
In a statement signed by Caroline Embu, NYSC’s Director of Information and Public Relations, the scheme stated: “The swearing-in ceremony holds on Friday, November 21, while the closing ceremony will take place on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.”
The statement further highlighted that the Director-General, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, wished all corps members safe travels and urged them to avoid night journeys for safety reasons.
NYSC, earlier released the call-up numbers for the 2025 Batch C prospective corps members, and confirmed on its official X handle that call-up numbers were released “based on registration order,” allowing registered members to plan their camp arrival.
The NYSC also warned that due to capacity limitations across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, “only about 40 per cent of registered prospective corps members can be accommodated for the upcoming orientation programme.”
Those unable to secure placement in Batch C will be deferred to the next exercise, ensuring no eligible participant misses the service opportunity.
