NLNG Job Vancancy: Applications Open For Operator, Trainee Analyst, Trainee Lab Technician Positions

The Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) Limited has announced vacancies for the Operator, Trainee Analyst, and Trainee Technician positions. Interested candidates are invited to apply between January 14 and February 3, 2025.

Job Details and Eligibility Criteria

1. Operator

The Operator will be responsible for daily field operations and play a safety-critical role to ensure smooth and efficient field activities.

Eligibility:

  • Higher National Diploma (HND) in Chemical, Petroleum, Mechanical, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of Upper Credit.
  • A minimum of four years of work experience in an LNG station, with skills in:
    • Gas Transmission
    • Natural Gas Treatment
    • Natural Gas Pre-cooling and Liquefaction
    • Storage and Loading Operations
  • Must have completed NYSC not earlier than 2021.

2. Trainee Technician

The Trainee Technician will assist in field and workshop maintenance tasks, ensuring safety standards, plant integrity, reliability, and availability are met.

Eligibility:

  • HND in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, or Metallurgical Engineering with a minimum of Upper Credit.
  • Completion of NYSC not earlier than 2021.

3. Trainee Lab Analyst

The Trainee Lab Analyst will conduct routine and non-routine laboratory testing on water, oil, gas, environmental samples, and applicable solids. Responsibilities include calibration, analytical equipment operation, method development, and maintenance to support NLNG’s production facilities.

Eligibility:

  • HND in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Science Laboratory Technology, or Industrial Chemistry with a minimum of Upper Credit.
  • Completion of NYSC not earlier than 2021.
