As of October 13, 2025, the Nigerian Naira’s exchange rates against major currencies showed mixed movements across different market segments, according to data from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) LemFi and Remitly.
In the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market (NAFEM), the naira gained 0.41% to close at N1,458/$ on October 10, according to data from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
In the International Money Transfer Operators (IMTO), data sourced from platforms like LemFi and Remitly, revealed the naira weakened slightly against the dollar by 0.27% to N1,489/$ on October 13, from N1,485/$ on October 10.
The naira held steady against the Great British Pound at N1,895 per GBP with no change, while the naira depreciated against the Euro by 0.12% to N1,723 from N1,721.
The naira weakend against the CAD by 0.19%, reaching N1,063 from N1,061.
Meanwhile, foreign reserves stood at $42.576 billion as of October 9, a slight increase from $42.574 billion on October 7, maintaining overall stability.
