Leventis Foundation’s Free 2025 Agricultural Training Programme

The Leventis Foundation Nigeria has announced the opening of applications for its 2025 one-year agricultural training programme. This initiative, held at the Leventis Agricultural Training School in Yaba and Abuja, aims to equip young Nigerian farmers with essential skills in modern farming practices and agribusiness management. The fully-funded programme covers tuition, accommodation, and feeding.

Programme Objectives

The training programme is designed to:

  • Train young Nigerians in modern, market-oriented farming techniques.
  • Develop the capacity of participants to effectively manage and sustain farm enterprises.
  • Support the establishment of technically advanced and productive farms

Areas of Training

Participants will undergo both practical and theoretical instruction across various agricultural disciplines, including:

  • Crop Production
  • Agricultural Engineering
  • Enterprise Development
  • Farm Management & Extension
  • Agro-forestry and Beekeeping Management
  • Animal and Fishery Production

Eligibility and Application Process

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be aged between 18 and 40 years.
  • Have a passion for agriculture and aspire to build a career in the field.
  • Have completed secondary education and be proficient in English.
  • Be physically fit to participate in the programme’s activities.

  • A handwritten application
  • Photocopies of credentials
  • Two (2) recent passport photographs
