Big Four accounting firm KPMG has admitted two Nigerians and one Ghanaian as its new West African partners. These appointments took effect on October 1st 2025.
The newly admitted partners are Oluchi Albert for Audit services and Sunkanmi Odede for Advisory services in Nigeria as well as Julius Ayivor for Advisory services in Ghana.
Oluchi Albert
Oluchi Albert has been at KPMG since 2009, first in an Audit manager role, then as an Associate Director. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Economics from Imo State University.

Sunkanmi Odede
Sunkanmi Odede holds a Bachelors degree in Accounting from Bowen University, Iwo. He currently serves as an Associate Director at KPMG Nigeria, a position he has occupied since January 2024.

He earlier worked with KPMG UK’s Infrastructure Advisory Group as a Senior Manager from December 2022 to December 2023 in Greater London. Prior to that he spent more than 11 years with KPMG Nigeria, where he occupied multiple positions: Senior Manager (January 2021 – December 2022), Manager (October 2017 – December 2020), and Analyst to Assistant Manager (June 2011 – September 2017), all in Lagos State.
Julius Ayivor
Julius Ayivor is currently an Associate Director at KPMG Ghana, a role he assumed in October 2024, after serving as a Senior Manager from October 2021 to September 2024 in Accra.

He has held several positions at KPMG Ghana including Manager (October 2018 – September 2021), Deputy Manager (October 2017 – September 2019), Senior Associate III (November 2016 – September 2017), Senior Associate I (multiple stints between 2014 and 2015), and Audit Associate (October 2011 – September 2014).
He has also worked with KPMG South Africa as a Supervisor from October 2015 to October 2016 in Johannesburg, and briefly with KPMG Nigeria as a Senior Associate I from January to June 2015.
