MTN Nigeria Communications Plc has notified the Nigerian Exchange Limited of a significant insider transaction involving Mr. Kolapo Olaleye, an Executive Director of the company.
According to the notification dated June 3, 2025, Mr. Olaleye sold a total of 138,930 ordinary shares of MTN Nigeria on May 30, 2025. The transaction was executed at a unit price of ₦226.95 per share, yielding an aggregate value of approximately ₦31.5 million.
This disclosure complies with regulatory requirements for insider dealings and reflects the company’s commitment to transparency in corporate governance. The transaction was conducted on the floor of the Nigerian Exchange and reported in accordance with Rule 17.15 (Dealing in Issuers’ Shares) of the NGX’s Rulebook.
