Job Description:

Synthetic description of the position

Conduct the examination of visa application files, under the authority of the head of diplomatic mission/consular post, the head of chancery and the head of visa department.

Main activities

  • Apply and monitor the proper use of visa regulations ;
  • Carry out the verification, training and decision-making on the files of visa applications ;
  • Participate in the daily monitoring and control of the activity of the service provider, if applicable ;
  • Information for the head of visa department ;
  • Participation in reflections on improving the quality of services rendered ;
  • Participation in the training and supervision of individual contractors.

Diplomas or professional experience recommended to perform the duties

  • Visa training and experience

Visa Officer and Various Affairs of Chancery (F/h)

Job Description:

Synthetic description of the position

  • Responsible for the Visas department, carry out the investigation of visa application files, under the authority of the head of Chancery and ensure the interim during his absences, as deputy. Assistant to the head of the consular chancery, in charge of the service during his absence.

Main activities

  • VISAS: Enforce and monitor the proper use of visa regulations ;
  • Carry out the verification, the instruction and the decision-making on the files of visa applications ; Participate in the monitoring and control of the activity of the service provider ;
  • Information for the head of the Chancery ;
  • Participation in discussions on improving the quality of services rendered;
  • Participation in the training and supervision of individual contractors. VARIOUS AFFAIRS OF CHANCELLERY: Reception of the French, maintenance of the Register of the French established outside France, issuance of French biometric passports, emergency passports and CNIS, maintenance of civil registers, PACS, management of school scholarships, nationality files, elections, social affairs (CCPAS), security plan (evacuation).

Diplomas or professional experience recommended to perform the duties

  • Confirmed professional knowledge of all MEAE consular professions (IFAAC). Previous experience in a mandatory position.
