Renowned Islamic singer, Rukayat Gawat, has passed away, leaving a void in the hearts of her fans and the Islamic music community.

Jubril A Gawat, her brother  confirmed this on his X account on Tuesday morning with a quote from the Quran stating ,“Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.” Q 2 V 156
