Ikos Andalusia: The New Luxury All-Inclusive Hotel

Having worked hard through this pandemic, picture yourself with wine in hand, eyes closed as you take in the cool breeze of the ocean sitting in a yacht, a treat you most certainly deserve. Ikos Andalusia offers the opportunity of such a luxury in Estepona, Costa del Sol on Spain’s southern coast.

The fifth hotel from the contemporary luxury Ikos brand and the first outside of Greece, Ikos’ well-known hospitality, Michelin-starred menus and relaxed, beachfront lifestyle are all present and correct at this brand-new opening.

Opening April 2021, the Ikos Andalusia is a stunning all-inclusive resort that delivers world-class service and luxury experiences. The 21-acre manicured grounds face the Mediterranean Sea and the serene shores of Playa de Guadalmansa, sitting just outside exceptionally pretty Estepona, a town where it’s easy to lose an afternoon wandering around the colourful kaleidoscope of streets with a population of 67,012.

The hotel is ideally situated in an area that’s the calmer, more laidback sister to the glitz and high-octane glamour of nearby Marbella. Temperatures in this part of Spain rarely drop below 17°C in winter and the whole area has a relaxed-and-friendly-meets-beach-club cool vibe.

Each of the 411 rooms in the hotel has an Iberian chic feel, with white and grey accents and sophisticated gold panelling, while floor-to-ceiling windows reveal either Mediterranean seafront views, tranquil pools, or lush gardens.

Book the Deluxe Collection suite and bag your own private pool, personal concierge service, private check-in, and more or share one of the hotel’s seven pools (including one adult-only) or private beach. A complimentary childcare service is available at the beach, too – an attractive proposition for those who want a bit of ‘me’ or ‘us’ time.

Ikos chic rooms deluxe two-bedroom suite private pool sea view.

For a fun family activity, take a pedalo out on the water or book your own boat tour or yacht rental for a supplementary charge. Part of the beauty of the Ikos experience is that it caters to everyone. The crèche, mini club, and teen club are for those aged four months up to 17 years, with arts and crafts, cooking and a whole host of sports on the activity menu.

For a relaxing touch, the Ikos Spa by Anne Semonin Paris, where every treatment uses the finest essential oils and minerals, including the hour-long signature hammam ceremony and energising volcanic thermal stones ritual is present to give you that luxury relaxation.

What’s a great holiday without exquisite food? Ikos Andalusia’s seven restaurants range from Greek-inspired delicacies courtesy of Michelin-starred chef, Lefteris Lazarou, at Ouzo, to the best of south-eastern France at Provence, where chef Anthony Jehanno – also Michelin-starred – is at the helm. Spanish-inspired favourites are on the menu at Oliva, a serene spot where guests can enjoy dishes including marinated seabass and Jamón Ibérico, bearing the picture-perfect pools and gardens. With the Dine Out Programme available to guests at Ikos Andalusia, holidaymakers are offered the chance to discover local cuisine at some of the best restaurants in the area, all at no extra cost.
