We are seeking talented and ambitious trainee journalists to join our team. Ideally, you should have a first degree in Economics (Second Class Upper). As a trainee business journalist, you’ll play a key role in helping us deliver high-quality content to our readers. This is an exciting opportunity to learn and grow with our team and develop the skills you need to succeed in a fast-paced and rewarding industry.
Research and write news articles, features, and analyses on economic, business, and financial themes
Conduct interviews with business leaders, entrepreneurs, and industry experts
Assist senior journalists and editors with research, fact-checking, and story development
Build relationships with sources and contacts in the business and policy communities
Stay up-to-date with economic, business, and social trends and suggest story ideas
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, or Law (Second Class Upper)
Strong writing skills
Excellent research and analytical abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for business and financial news
