The Role: Manager – Syndications

In this critical role, you will play a central part in originating, structuring, and executing syndicated loans and club deals, aligning with Afreximbank’s mission to mobilize resources for African trade development. This role involves working with global and regional financial institutions, structuring complex financial transactions, and driving collaboration to support transformative projects across Africa.

Key Responsibilities

  • Structuring, managing, and executing syndicated loans and related facilities.
  • Engaging with global and African financial institutions, investors, and stakeholders.
  • Leading resource mobilization efforts through innovative financial instruments.
  • Supporting Afreximbank’s broader capital-raising initiatives.

What You Need to Succeed

  • A postgraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in syndications, structured finance, or corporate banking.
  • A solid understanding of African markets and the trade finance landscape is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent skills in financial analysis, transaction structuring, communication, and negotiation.
