As of November 5, 2025, the Nigerian Naira’s exchange rates against major currencies showed mixed movements across different market segments, according to data from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), LEMFI, and REMITLY.

In the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market (NAFEM)/Official market, the naira depreciated by 0.26% to close at ₦1,441.75/$1 on November 4, down from ₦1,438.00/$1 on November 3, a loss of ₦3.75 per dollar, according to CBN data.

In the International Money Transfer Operators (IMTO) segment, data sourced from platforms like LEMFI and REMITLY revealed the naira weakened slightly against the dollar by 0.27% to ₦1,457.00/$1 on November 5, from ₦1,453.00/$1 on November 4.

The naira appreciated against the Great British Pound by 0.63% to ₦1,904.00/£1 from ₦1,916.00/£1, while the naira remained unchanged against the Euro at ₦1,677/€1.

The naira weakened against the CAD by 0.48%, reaching ₦1,033/CAD from ₦1,038/CAD.

Meanwhile, foreign reserves rose to $43.259 billion as of November 3, a 0.14% increase from $43.198 billion on October 31, reflecting continued buildup in external buffers.
