Democracy Day Awards: Professor Wole Soyinka Awarded GCON, Nigeria’s second-highest National Honour

Prominent Noble Laurette, Professor Wole Soyinka has been conferred with the honor of the Grand Commander of The Niger (GCON) as part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s democracy day awards.

The Literary icon is one of several heroes of the June 12 struggle, including journalists scheduled to receive a national honor.
