The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced that the next batch of shortlisted applicants for its ongoing nationwide recruitment will be released beginning December 1.

According to a statement issued on Friday by the Board’s Secretary, Abdulmalik Jubril, applicants are expected to visit the recruitment portal — recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng — between December 1 and December 3 to confirm their shortlisting status.

Jubril explained that candidates who met the required performance benchmarks have been selected strictly on merit.

Successful applicants are instructed to log in to the portal within the specified period to choose their preferred venue and date for the physical screening and document verification exercise.

The recruitment drive involves several agencies under the Board, including the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Federal Fire Service, Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), and the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).

The Board further disclosed that physical screening for qualified candidates will take place across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory from December 8 to December 12, 2025.

Applicants were cautioned to rely solely on the official portal for updates regarding subsequent stages of the recruitment, as no information will be disseminated through email or unofficial channels.

Jubril congratulated successful candidates and reaffirmed that the selection process adheres to the Federal Character principle while also addressing the manpower requirements of each agency.
