Achievers University, Owo, Ondo State, a distinguished tertiary institution committed to academic excellence and innovation, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to take on the position of Registrar.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

The Registrar is the Chief Administrative Officer of the University and is responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day administration of the University. By virtue of that office, the Registrar is the Secretary to the Governing Council, Senate, Congregation, and Convocation.

Candidates must:

• Possess at least a university degree.
• Have 15 years of post-graduate experience and must have spent 10 years within the university administrative community.
• Be proficient in the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and committed to its deployment in the University’s programmes and services.
• Be in excellent physical and mental health to perform all duties assigned by the extant laws of the University.

The Registrar shall hold office for a single non-renewable term of five (5) years. The terms and conditions of service shall be embodied in a contract under the seal of the University.

SALARIES AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

Salaries, allowances, and other benefits, including the contributory pension scheme, are as approved by the Governing Council of Achievers University and are favorably comparable with those obtainable in other public and private universities.
