About the Role

The Common Services Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the High Commission. This position is responsible for providing administrative support across several areas, including finance, human resources, property, procurement, and general mission operations. As a member of the Common Services team, you’ll help ensure the smooth delivery of services that keep the mission running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in processing invoices, payments, and payroll-related activities.
  • Maintaining and updating internal databases and filing systems.
  • Supporting procurement activities, including liaising with local vendors and service providers.
  • Coordinating logistical arrangements for events and meetings.
  • Assisting in the management of property and inventory.
  • Performing general office duties and supporting other mission staff as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent command of English (oral and written).
  • At least two years of recent experience in an administrative or office support role.
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Legal authorization to work in Nigeria.
