Business File: MTN Takes Go MAD Campaign to Aba, ‘Nigeria’s Silicon Valley’

Over the weekend, MTN Nigeria took its inspirational Go MAD (Make A Difference) campaign to Aba, the entrepreneurial hub of Nigeria. The event featured cultural displays and a showcase by local entrepreneurs and creatives such as a cosmetologist and anti-bleaching advocate, Dr. Precious Uche and Michael Ogbonna, a fashion entrepreneur who uses data to access customers internationally. Describing Aba as Nigeria’s “Silicon Valley”, MacDaniels Enwemuche, Regional Manager, Sales & Trade Development, MTN Nigeria explained the need to activate this campaign in Aba, due to the city’s industrious spirit and alignment with the Go MAD philosophy.
