British Airways refreshes Heathrow Elemis spas

The British Airways Elemis Travel Spa at Heathrow T5

British Airways has unveiled refreshed Elemis Travel Spas at Heathrow T3 and T5, with its spa facility at JFK Terminal 7 also set to be revamped later this year.

The carrier has partnered with Kelly Hoppen MBE for the new look, with soft furnishings including curtains, rugs, cushions and throws all handpicked by the interior designer.

As part of the refresh BA has launched a new treatment menu, including 15-minute deep scalp and muscle ease back massages. The airline has partnered with Elemis at its travel spas for the last 12 years.

Commenting on the relaunch Kelly Hoppen MBE said:

“As someone who has worked in hospitality design for many years now, I want travel to be an experience from start to finish, and I am thrilled to have worked with British Airways and Elemis to redesign their Travel Spa at Heathrow airport.

“For me, a spa should be a sanctuary, and it was important to create a calming space where you can completely step away from the rush of the airport activity, and truly unwind before boarding your flight.”

The Elemis Travel Spas are available for those flying in BA First and Club World, as well as Executive Club Gold members flying long-haul.

Business Traveller recently interviewed BA’s Head of Ground Product, Jude Winstanley, regarding the carrier’s new-look lounges at Rome, Aberdeen and New York JFK.
