Balon D’or 2025: Justine Madugu Nominated For Women’s Team Coach of the Year

Super Falcons Coach Justine Madugu has been nominated for the 2025 Women’s Team Coach of the Year following his impressive performances as coach of the women’s national team.

Coach Madugu, who took over the reins of the Super Falcons from Randy Waldrum on an interim basis, led Nigeria to its 10th WAFCON title at the recently concluded WAFCON in Morocco by defeating hosts Morocco in the final.

He is nominated alongside Sonia Bompastor, Arthur Elias, Renée Slegers, and England manager Sarina Wiegman, with the winner set to be announced in a ceremony scheduled for September.
