A children’s fashion brand is seeking a Head of Retail and Sales Operations to take the reins of their physical retail engine.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Revenue Growth
- You will provide overarching leadership for retail and sales operations, ensuring every initiative aligns with the company’s long-term strategic goals.
- You will design and drive revenue growth strategies across physical stores and emerging channels, including pop-ups, partnerships, and experiential formats.
- You will evaluate the commercial viability of the store footprint, leading project management for launching, relocating, or winding down retail locations.
- You will monitor global and local retail trends and technological innovations to ensure the brand remains competitive and forward-thinking.
- You will deliver actionable business insights and forecasts to the executive team to highlight growth opportunities.
Store Operations & Brand Consistency
- You will lead the development of scalable retail systems and SOPs to ensure operational efficiency and consistency across all 13+ locations.
- You will champion a customer-first culture, leveraging data to tailor experiences for digitally connected and convenience-driven consumers.
- You will implement feedback loops between the sales teams and management to continuously improve the customer journey and satisfaction.
- You will monitor compliance with premium brand standards, ensuring that visual merchandising and store layouts reflect the brand’s timeless appeal.
- You will execute promotional activities and loyalty programs to drive foot traffic and long-term brand advocacy.
Team Leadership & Supply Chain Alignment
- You will lead, coach, and mentor high-performing regional and store teams, fostering a culture of accountability and professional development.
- You will collaborate with HR to ensure staffing levels are optimized for business needs while staying within budget.
- You will partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, Marketing, Internal Controls) to ensure smooth and productive retail operations.
- You will ensure effective inventory management by optimizing product assortment and ensuring timely replenishment to meet store-level demand.
- You will enforce strict inventory controls and loss prevention strategies to minimize errors, fraud, and theft.
Job Targets
- Achieving and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets across all physical retail locations.
- Implementing scalable SOPs that result in 100% compliance with brand standards and audit requirements.
- Improving customer satisfaction scores and loyalty program participation through tailored retail experiences.
- Maintaining high levels of stock availability while significantly reducing inventory shrinkage and diversion.
- Building a robust succession plan and meeting all team-level KPIs for productivity and service quality.
Qualifications Required
- Proven senior-level experience in Retail Operations or Sales Management, preferably within the fashion or FMCG sector (8 Years)
- A strong track record of leading multi-location teams and driving large-scale retail projects.
- Ability to analyze P&L statements, sales data, and market trends to drive profitability.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (An MBA is an added advantage).
- Strong project management, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
Pay: ₦1,000,000.00 – ₦1,200,000.00 per month
