The management of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has announced two fully funded PhD positions at the Nigeria AI Lab (NAIL), domiciled in its Department of Computer Science.
This initiative is part of the AI for Education project, supported by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) and the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). The program is aimed at designing AI-powered personalized learning assistants for low-connectivity, underserved learning environments in sub-Saharan Africa.
The PhD tracks include: Track 1 – AI/ML for Personalized Learning, Track 2 – NLP & Educational Interaction Design
