Job Title: Head of Compliance & MLRO
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
AfriChain Digital Assets Ventures is launching in Nigeria, backed by global partners—and we are looking for a compliance leader to architect our regulatory framework and shape the future of crypto governance.
Your Role:
- Lead regulatory licensing with SEC, CBN, and NFIU
- Design & implement AML/CFT, KYC, and onboarding systems
- Serve as MLRO and manage audits, inspections, and reporting
- Build internal compliance policy, risk registers & governance documents
- Train staff, advise the CEO, and help shape strategy from day one
Qualifications
• 5+ years in senior compliance/MLRO roles (fintech, crypto, or financial services)
• Mastery of Nigerian AML/CFT and licensing requirements
• Strategic mindset and excellent cross-functional collaboration
• Bonus: crypto exchange experience or blockchain knowledge
